Clark Blasts House Trumpcare Vote

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Katherine Clark released the following statement:

“Republicans just betrayed American families and stripped health care from 24 million Americans. Instead of expanding health care, the House took a giant leap back to when insurance companies were in charge, being a woman was a pre-existing condition, and wealthy insurance CEOs took home major tax gifts on the backs of seniors and our most vulnerable. Americans turned out in every corner of our country to defeat this devastating plan in the first round. We stand ready and willing to fight in the next.”
