2024 Service Academy Day
RESCHEDULED to Sunday, October 13 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Malden Senior Center, 7 Washington Street, Malden, MA 02148
If you're interested in obtaining a Congressional nomination to a U.S. Service Academy, my office will be holding an informational session and FAQ panel. You'll be able to meet with representatives from West Point, the Naval Academy, the Air Force Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, as well as current cadets and military veterans. Additionally, you will be able to speak with my Service Academy Coordinator about the nomination process. All are welcome to attend.
Military Service Academy Nominations

Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Service Academies. Each year I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of applicants to the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, and the U.S. Naval Academy. The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation. To be considered for a nomination from my office, you must submit the personal data form below, and send the following materials to my Malden office by October 31:
- 3 Letters of Recommendation
- Resume or List of Activities/Achievements
- All Official Academic Transcripts (High School & College)
- Official SAT and/or ACT Scores (SAT code: 7901, ACT code: 7457) *OPTIONAL*
- An essay of at least 250 words detailing why you want to attend an academy
