Request a Tour
If you're visiting Washington D.C., my office can arrange for you to receive a tour of the U.S. Capitol. We have limited availability to accommodate U.S. Capitol tours and my office will contact you after you've filled out the form about available tour slots. Each slot is reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, that School Tour slots are limited, and there are no guarantees of availability. Please give the office as much advanced notice as possible to accommodate your school group.
Before submitting your request, please be aware of the updated guidance and limitations of touring the U.S. Capitol Building. While the rules do change, you can expect the complex to be smoke-free and require a security check process. The building also allows strollers, service animals, and is fully accessible for people with disabilities. You should also review the Capitol Etiquette Guidelines before you visit.
I can help you arrange tours of other popular and historic sites in Washington. Requests can be submitted up to six months in advance of your visit. Currently, many locations are closed or restricted due to COVID-19. For information on sightseeing and attractions, please visit my Washington, DC Tourism Information page. To submit your tour request, we will need detailed information such as name, birth date, place of birth, and social security number. Please also be prepared to provide this information about your tour party when we respond to your request.
