Rep. Katherine Clark (D-MA) didn't hold back during an interview on MSNBC's "The Sunday Show," telling host Jonathan Capehart that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is every bit as "ignorant and bigoted" as she appears and has no interest in doing her job and acting like a legislator.

"I need to ask you about Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and what she's been saying and doing with regard to the Equality Act," host Capehart began. "It's my understanding that you have a nonbinary child. what is your reaction to what Marjorie Taylor Greene has been saying and doing and pushing back against the Equality Act?"

"I can tell you that being on the floor, seeing that equality act pass, as an American and especially as a mom was a great day and a great moment for our country," she replied. "We need to make sure that everyone in the LGBTQ community can live their lives with dignity and respect and safety. and I wish that Marjorie Taylor Greene was the only one across the aisle who had espoused such hateful and bigoted and ignorant views of especially our trans community -- but she wasn't."

"That is exactly why we need this sort of anti-discrimination legislation in our country," she continued. "We are a stronger nation when we are all secure, when we are all able to live our lives with respect and Marjorie Taylor Greene is clearly here to divide, to spread misinformation, to spread bigotry and not to legislate and get to work."
