“Democrats are getting the job done. As a result of today’s announcement, 100,000 families will have more money in their pockets, child care providers will have more financial stability, and our entire economy will grow. 

“President Biden and Vice President Harris understand what has long been true: child care is economic infrastructure. It enables all other work. From corner shops to corner offices, our country’s prosperity depends on every parent’s ability to find and afford care. 

“This is a critical step forward in Democrats’ core mission: growing the economy by growing the middle class. We will not stop fighting until every family can access the care they need and deserve.”
