WASHINGTON, D.C. – Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-5) issued the following statement reacting to Donald Trump’s TIME magazine interview, in which he commits to continuing his assault on reproductive freedom: 

“There is no privacy and no freedom in Donald Trump’s America. He brags about eliminating Roe v. Wade, and now he’s ready to go even further: banning abortion nationwide, monitoring pregnancies, and unleashing prosecutors on women and girls. 

“Do not underestimate him: he won’t stop until birth control is pulled off the shelf, IVF treatments are shut down, and prisons are filled with patients and doctors.”
