Clark Statement on Trump FY2018 Budget

Washington, D.C. – Congresswoman Katherine Clark released the following statement regarding Trump’s budget blueprint for fiscal year 2018:

“Where we spend our money is a reflection of our values, and Trump’s draconian budget makes clear that he doesn’t value hardworking families, victims of domestic violence, hungry students, seniors, or anyone who wants to breathe clean air and drink clean water. Instead of helping American families get ahead, Trump and the roll-over Republicans in Congress are proposing wildly irresponsible cuts to vital programs while unnecessarily throwing money at the Pentagon and greasing the wheels for big corporations. The families we serve deserve better than this.”
