REVERE, MA — Yesterday, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-5) joined Save the Harbor / Save the Bay, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, and state and local leaders to announce the release of the 2023 Beach Season Water Quality Report Card. This year’s report card, which emphasizes the success of the Boston Harbor Cleanup, uses data from the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) to survey the water quality across the region including in Revere. 

Whip Clark also joined Jack Satter House and Hebrew SeniorLife to celebrate a federal grant worth up to $20 million grant that was awarded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The grant, made possible by Democrats’ Infrastructure Law, will support energy efficiency and climate resilient improvements at the Revere affordable senior living site.

“Future generations deserve to enjoy the same treasures so many have found in this city — from our beloved public beaches to quality, reliable senior housing,” said Whip Clark. “Thanks to the steadfast advocacy of Revere residents and the vision of our local leaders, we are bracing this community against the impacts of climate change and ushering in the cleaner, more secure future Bay Staters deserve. I am proud to have helped bring home federal funding for climate and infrastructure projects that will leave a lasting impact across Revere, now and in the years to come.”
