“Donald Trump and Republicans just sent a very clear message to every family suffering from addiction and illness: your loved ones are dispensable. Republicans are robbing taxpayers of critical public health funding that provides care and prevents the spread of diseases — at a time when the bird flu is a threat. It’s as cruel as it is illegal.
 
“Republicans promised to help lower costs for Americans. But it was all a big lie. Their one objective is to rip critical services away from working people to pay for tax breaks for billionaires.”
