MEDFORD, MA – Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-5) joined a panel of women leaders to celebrate Women’s History Month at Medford High School today.

Panelists included Medford Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn, Medford Superintendent Dr. Marice Edouard-Vincent, Supreme Judicial Court Chief Justice Kimberly Budd, Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, Professor Aseema Mohanty, Commander Billie June (BJ) Farrell, Dr. Jaime Cheah, Lisa Flores, Kelly Rose Sarno, Tiffany Chan, and Page Buldini.

“Fighting for women and families – that’s the mission that keeps me charging out of the house each morning and fuels my work in Washington each day,” Democratic Whip Clark said in a news release. “Though there’s still a long way to go, I’m excited to see the next generation of young women make their way into the halls of power.”

Whip Clark is the highest ranking woman in House leadership and the second woman ever to hold the title of Democratic Whip.
