WASHINGTON, D.C. — Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-5) is leading a bipartisan Congressional delegation to Belgium, Kenya, and Tanzania to engage with global partners to discuss women’s economic empowerment, environmental conservation, and peace and security. 

“Today, our delegation sets out on a multinational journey that underscores Congress’ resolve to advance peace, security, and economic opportunity for women around the world,” said Democratic Whip Katherine Clark. “We will bring a clear message to our global partners at a critical time for women’s rights: America is steadfast in the fight for gender equality. We know that when women thrive, the world is a more peaceful, just, and prosperous place.”
