“Today’s Supreme Court decision protects millions of women who rely on mifepristone – a drug approved by the FDA 23 years ago – for safe, effective abortion care. 

“However, our fight for reproductive justice is far from over. MAGA extremists are weaponizing our courts to achieve a national abortion ban. As this battle continues, House Democrats will use every tool at our disposal to protect Americans’ right to make their own health care decisions, including our fight to enshrine abortion access into law with the Women’s Health Protection Act. We are on the side of the American people and on the side of freedom.”
