Massachusetts Congresswoman Katherine Clark has made history: knocking out another piece of the glass ceiling as she ascends in the House's Democratic leadership.
Her Democratic colleagues in the House elected her assistant speaker, the forth ranking position in the house. She will become the second-highest ranking Democratic woman in the history of the House, after Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and the most powerful congresswoman ever from Massachusetts.
