Staff remain at the ready to continue serving constituents
March 15, 2020 – Today, Congresswoman Katherine Clark (MA-5) announced that her office staff will begin working remotely to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus in both her Washington, D.C. office and Massachusetts offices. The changes include:
- The physical location of the Washington, DC and Massachusetts offices will be closed beginning on March 16, and staff will begin teleworking.
- All meetings will be held virtually.
- At the direction of the Sergeant-at-Arms the Capitol building is closed to tours beginning Friday, March 13.
“In order to assist in preventing the spread of COVID-19, my office is protectively introducing new measures to limit social contact and potential exposure to the virus,” said Congresswoman Clark. “The health and safety of our community is our top priority and we know that social distancing is one of the best tools we have to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
