After the new Trump administration took down a federal website about reproductive rights, Gov. Maura Healey is emphasizing that a state site about abortion access in Massachusetts remains available.

U.S. Rep. Katherine Clark flagged the loss of the federal webpage Monday on social media.

"Just hours after taking the oath of office, Donald Trump took down reproductiverights.gov — a website to help women find health care and understand their rights. They're wasting no time assaulting freedom," Clark wrote on X, where she also shared a screenshot showing that her internet browser couldn't find the website.

Retweeting Clark's post Monday night, Healey wrote on X, "And that's why Mass.gov/AbortionAccess is staying up."

Healey told reporters Tuesday that she's "not surprised" by the Trump administration's action.

"It's what he ran on. I mean, he's proud of overturning Roe and taking away abortion access in this country," the governor said after an unrelated event in Bridgewater.

The commonwealth's website states that Massachusetts residents and out-of-state travelers can access legal abortion care here despite the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v. Wade. The site offers overviews of the state's shield law protecting providers and patients from legal action, Healey's executive order ensuring access to emergency abortion care, the availability of medication abortion in Massachusetts, guidance for providers, and state bulletins on insurance coverage expectations for abortion and emergency abortion care.

"We want to make sure that women have access to the health care that they need in the state, including reproductive health care, and that we continue to protect our providers," Healey said.
