Appropriations Request

Note: Fields marked with an * are required.

The 5th District of Massachusetts is home to many municipalities, organizations, and institutions working on important projects that receive funding from the federal government. As your Member of Congress, I have a unique opportunity to advocate for funding that can create jobs, support scientific research, and improve the lives of families in our district. In order to be sure that I’m hearing from my constituents, I’ve set up this site to solicit appropriations requests. Please take the time to let me know more about your appropriations request, and how my office can be helpful to you.

Programmatic/Bill and Report Language Requests: These types of requests are general funding requests for national and regional programs, and/or bill and report language requests that directs, encourages, or urges an Agency or Department to carry out an action.

Community Project Funding Requests: These types of requests, also known as earmarks, are funding requests for specific community projects for state, local, or tribal governments or certain nonprofits.

  • Please note that guidelines for Community Project Funding are subject to change following the release of the House Appropriations Committee’s guidance.
  • Please limit your requests to one program per submission. Submissions that include requests for multiple programs will not be considered.
  • Fields marked with an * are required.
  • Please note that if your community project funding request is selected for further review, you will be required to submit additional information and documentation beyond the scope of this form.
