Congresswoman Katherine Clark’s Website Accessibility Statement

All people should have access to their Congressional representative and their office, including those with different abilities. It is my policy that this website (https://katherineclark.house.gov) and all of its functions be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or technology. It is also important to me that those with other abilities know how to contact me should this website prove inadequate in meeting their needs, and be aware of the resources and standards I used in making this website.

We have made every reasonable effort to incorporate the technical standards put forth in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.1 Level AA into my website. These standards, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (“W3C”), Web Accessibility Initiative (“WAI”), can be viewed at https://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG/.

My website is designed to be compatible with assistive technologies, including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack screen readers. It is also designed to be compatible with up-to-date browsers from major developers, including Chrome, FireFox, and Safari, and assistive technologies on iOS and Android devices. Please note that older or not-updated browsers, like Internet Explorer, may not function correctly. .

I have instructed my team to make every reasonable effort to ensure future web and social media content on my website is accessible within these standards and I hope you will reach out if you find that you cannot easily use these pages or the social content that I publish.

While my website exceeds the standards required by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act and suggested by the WCAG, my website may still not meet your needs. Please contact my staff should you encounter any barriers to access. You can email us at jon.house@mail.house.gov or call us at 617-354-0292.
